Common Race | Medium Creature

Humans are an adaptable, superstitious, and optimistic race who are by far the most common creatures residing on the world of Anterra. Humans tend to congregate into large cities and fortresses in order to ensure their protection from the rampant monsters that which plague the land. After all, there is strength in numbers. Humans tend to adapt to their environment very easily and will often fight amongst themselves about who gets to retain the resources on a portion of land. Humans are rash and emotional, leading them into near constant warring with neighboring kingdoms.

Appearance

Humans are sturdy creatures who range between 5’0 feet and 6’0 feet in height. They generally have thick hair on the tops of their heads and the males will often grow facial hair to accommodate the climate they are in. Roughly half of them have darker skin, while the other tends to be a pale white.

History

Humans are still quite a young race when it comes to their residence on Anterra, though they made themselves known as they quickly bred and spread across the lands, claiming large swaths for themselves and hunting down weaker races to extinction. Eventually they began erecting large structures to protect themselves and would often invade other races territory to claim more resources.
